La Sagrada Familia is a Catholic basilica designed by the architect Antonio Gaudí. Its construction began in 1882, which is still being built today. It is Gaudí's masterpiece, and the greatest exponent of Catalan modernist architecture known worldwide. In this painting it is represented in a sunset with very warm and saturated tones. The brush strokes are light and blend together to create different colors. Among all those tones, brushstrokes of a colder tone have been used to create visual harmony. In the figure itself we can see a material use of color. The use of black highlights that it is getting dark and enhances the figure, creating a strong contrast of colors.
